Chef’s Table Suckling Pig at The Breslin NYC

Outside it’s hot, humid, loud and sunny. Inside The Breslin is cool and dark. An oasis, with my very own suckling pig (well, to share).

The meal, in celebration of a dear friend’s 30th birthday was decadent and memorable. Perfect.

Herbed Caesar salad with anchovy croutons

Duck Fat Potatoes (best I’ve ever had, fluffy inside, crispy outside, like a giant perfect french fry)

Roasted Carrots

Sauteed Swiss Chard

Salsa Rossa + Salsa Verde

Oh and did I mention there were wine pairings? AND to top it all off, a beautiful chocolate birthday cake AND piping hot donut holes with three warm dipping sauces.
